Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Injection Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity with on-the-job training and cross-training provided.

The successful candidate will assist with molding, assembling, inspecting, and packaging products while following established procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Receive daily job assignments and follow production instructions
  • Review job information, routing instructions, and specifications
  • Remove finished products from injection molding machines
  • Inspect parts for quality, defects, and proper specifications
  • Trim and finish molded parts as required
  • Apply labels and package finished products according to instructions
  • Assist with material handling and machine servicing as needed
  • Operate computers and equipment used in the molding process
  • Perform secondary operations using auxiliary equipment when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
  • Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
  • Identify and properly handle non-conforming products
  • Work as part of a team while also completing tasks independently
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of injection molding is helpful, but not required
  • Comfortable learning new equipment, processes, and computer systems
  • Able to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining concentration and accuracy
  • Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance
  • Able to work effectively with others and independently
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with deadlines
  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training and cross-training
  • Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work area
  • Overtime may be required
Physical Requirements

This position requires:

  • Standing and sitting for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Bending, stooping, and working at varying heights
  • Occasional use of foot pedals
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and minimal fumes
  • Ability to distinguish colors and identify defects in products
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
Equipment

Employees may work with injection molding machines, tooling and auxiliary equipment, computers, hand tools, soldering irons, drill presses, and other production equipment.
