Job description

Position Title: Esthetician (Independent Contractor)


Position Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Esthetician (Independent Contractor) to provide professional skincare services to members and guests in a welcoming, relaxing, and high-end wellness environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional facial and skincare treatments while maintaining the highest standards of service, sanitation, and client care. The ideal candidate will enhance the overall member experience through expertise, professionalism, and personalized attention.


Primary Roles amp; Responsibilities:

· Provide professional skincare services including facials, skin analysis, exfoliation, extractions, masks, and other approved esthetic treatments.
· Greet clients warmly, ensure comfort throughout their service, and provide a positive, relaxing experience from start to finish.
· Conduct thorough skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products.
· Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and service history.
· Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked, clean, organized, and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
· Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, hygiene, and state board regulations at all times.
· Promote spa services and retail skincare products when appropriate.
· Maintain professional communication with front desk and management team to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow.
· Manage own appointment schedule in coordination with spa/front desk operations.
· Stay current with skincare trends, techniques, and continuing education requirements.
· Handle client concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
· Other reasonable duties as assigned.


Essential Skills and Experience:

· Must hold a current and valid Esthetician license in the state of Florida.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
· Excellent knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and treatments.
· Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
· Experience with spa scheduling or POS systems is a plus.
· Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
· Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and industry best practices.


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working in a spa or wellness environment with controlled indoor conditions. The role may require occasional exposure to cleaning products, skincare chemicals, and varying client schedules including evenings or weekends based on appointment bookings.
