Bring People Together Through Meaningful Events and Programs as a Member Experience Event Strategist!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a creative, organized, and people-focused Member Experience Event Strategist to help deliver exceptional programs and events that foster engagement, connection, and memorable experiences for members and their families.

In this exciting role, you'll support the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse portfolio of events, including family activities, seasonal celebrations, enrichment programs, and PERA Day Camp. If you enjoy event planning, relationship building, and creating outstanding experiences from concept through execution, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll DoMember Program & Event Planning
  • Support the planning, development, and execution of annual member programs, events, and recreational activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics, timelines, communications, and registration processes.
  • Assist in the administration and operation of PERA Day Camp and other signature programs.
  • Help ensure events align with engagement goals and provide positive member experiences.
Event Coordination & Execution
  • Develop detailed event plans, schedules, layouts, and operational timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
  • Support event setup, onsite operations, and post-event breakdown activities.
  • Ensure a seamless experience for attendees before, during, and after events.
Vendor Management
  • Coordinate activities with vendors, entertainers, rental companies, caterers, and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure services are delivered as contracted.
  • Support vendor contracting, invoicing, scheduling, and event-day logistics.
Onsite Event Management
  • Serve as a key onsite resource during events and programs.
  • Coordinate:
    • Registration
    • Catering
    • Audiovisual needs
    • Signage
    • Venue setup
    • Attendee flow
  • Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
Budget Administration
  • Track event expenses and support budget management activities.
  • Process invoices and purchase requests.
  • Maintain event financial records and documentation.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a high-quality member experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Event Coordination
    • Program Administration
    • Community Events
    • Recreation Programming
    • Related event-focused roles
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience coordinating multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, volunteers, stakeholders, and participants.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when events require.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
