Residential Services Supervisor


We are seeking a dedicated Residential Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our licensed group homes. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives individuals with intellectual disabilities or Autism while supporting a team of compassionate Direct Support Professionals. If you are committed to excellence in residential care and possess strong supervisory skills, we encourage you to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of licensed group homes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies

- Serve as the senior Direct Support Professional (DSP) within the program, providing guidance and mentorship to assigned DSPs

- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and smooth home operations

- Ensure all residents' plans are followed accurately and documented appropriately

- Facilitate routine tasks such as shopping, scheduling medical appointments, and other necessary activities to support residents' well-being

- Maintain clear and effective communication as the primary liaison between the group home, guardians, DSPs, and outside therapists

- Monitor and support staff performance, providing training and coaching as needed to promote professional growth

- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in residential care, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role

- Strong knowledge of regulations and best practices related to licensed group homes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of Direct Support Professionals

- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving residents' quality of life

- Valid driver's license and ability to perform routine errands and appointments as required

-Three years experience with intellectual disabilities or autism
