How much do inbound material handler jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 12, 2026, the average hourly pay for inbound material handler in the United States is $18.21, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $16.11 and $19.47 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs make $1000 per hour?

Jobs that can pay $1000 per hour are typically highly specialized roles such as top-tier surgeons, experienced anesthesiologists, or certain high-level legal or financial consultants. These positions often require advanced education, extensive experience, and sometimes involve emergency or high-stakes environments. Such earnings are rare and usually associated with freelance or independent contractor work in niche fields.

What is an inbound material handler?

An inbound material handler is a worker responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments of materials or products in a warehouse or distribution center. They often operate equipment like forklifts and use inventory management systems to track items, ensuring proper storage and organization. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and sometimes certification in equipment operation.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

An inbound material handler typically does not earn $10,000 a month without specialized skills or experience. High-paying roles in logistics or supply chain management may reach that level, especially with overtime, bonuses, or supervisory responsibilities, but they often require relevant experience or certifications. Most entry-level material handling jobs pay significantly less, and earning $10,000 monthly usually involves advanced roles or additional qualifications.
