We are looking for an Operations Manager to support the Inbound function in our Distribution Facility in Newnan, Ga. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work with and motivate their team to meet operational and financial goals in the logistics industry

About the Role:  The Inbound Manager provides leadership, management, and effective communication to both customers and co-owners, while meeting operational and financial goals.  The successful person will be able to drive operational performance at the site level, focusing on productivity, quality, and cost metrics.

They will do this while maintaining the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations with established policies, practices, and procedures.  Those same policies and procedures need to be reviewed from a continuous improvement lens - and the Inbound Manager should champion any improvements. Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory accuracy, reconciling with WMS.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Manages warehouse staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Conduct ongoing self-audits of location processes and individual accountabilities.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment with zero failure philosophy on deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
