FDL is hiring immediately and we are a growing company. Average hours are 50 - 55 hours (overtime) and steady work. No overnights, no weekend work, drivers work 5-days a week.


The most important duty of our drivers is to safely transport our customers' products to their clients. Drivers are responsible to review their loads and complete paperwork related to the products the customer and delivery, check the goods and load it into the vehicle and then transport it to the intended destination. Drivers are expected to help resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all drivers take all the cases for their routes and nothing gets left behind
  • If there is a breakage, the individual should be able to re-pick the order
  • Experience driving in the Northeast area
  • Re-assign routes if there is a called out
  • Be the last one to leave the warehouse with their route
  • Ensure all deliveries are on time
  • Safe operation of company vehicle for delivery of products
  • Keep accurate records of delivery information
  • Able to operate Wise GSP system
  • Ability to operate a RF Scanner
  • Check and clean the delivery vehicle daily
  • Interact and develop a relationship with the customers
  • Present professional conduct to customer and coworkers
  • Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
  • Refer customers to supervisors or technicians when required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Able to pass a Drug Screen

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (motor vehicle record will be run)
  • Experience with loading vehicles and operating pallet jack
  • Provide great customer service experience an asset
  • High sense of urgency to get the job done right
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task, plan and organize time
  • Conduct all activities with a safety-first mindset
