Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Risk & Patient Safety Manager RN to support organizational risk management, patient safety initiatives, compliance monitoring, and quality improvement programs. This role partners closely with leadership teams to improve patient outcomes, oversee event investigations, and drive performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Active Wyoming RN License Required
  • BSN Required
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience
  • Experience in Risk Management, Patient Safety, or Performance Improvement preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • CPHRM Certification preferred
  • If not certified, candidate must obtain CPHRM within 1 year of hire
  • LEAN / Performance Improvement training preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee event reporting and incident investigation programs
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Sentinel Event investigations
  • Analyze trends and implement corrective action plans
  • Manage patient complaints and grievance processes
  • Support regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
  • Prepare risk management reports and claims summaries
