Schedule: On-call | GI call starts at 1430 and ends at 0630 M-F and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday | Commitment of 4 weeknights and 1 weekend per month pending staffing needs

How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Advocate for and safeguard the total well-being of the patient by expertly managing their comprehensive care as the circulating nurse, spanning pre-op preparation through post-procedure stabilization and documentation.
  • Execute and maintain a precise, sterile surgical field by selecting, organizing, and managing all instrumentation and supplies to ensure a seamless and efficient procedural flow.
  • Collaborate with the operating surgeon to drive optimal surgical outcomes by directly assisting with critical tasks such as wound exposure, hemostasis, and suturing.
  • Monitor and anticipate team needs and patient physiological changes, proactively communicating and rapidly intervening to sustain optimal procedure progression and patient safety.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.


Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
