The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up Swiss-type CNC turning centers and mill-turn machines
  • Select and install tooling, guide bushings, collets, and workholding
  • Load programs and establish accurate tool and work offsets
  • Run and inspect first articles before releasing jobs to production
  • Hold tolerances to ±0.0002" when required
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot tooling wear, offset drift, and setup issues
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality and cycle efficiency
  • Document setup details to support AS9100 & ISO 13485 requirements
  • Collaborate with programmers, quality, and production teams
