Press Brake Operators - EXPERIENCED (2+ years)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour


Job Description:

Our client, a fast-paced, growing metal fabrication company, is looking to hire skilled press brake operators (2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) for FIRST SHIFT (5 AM - 3 PM) and SECOND SHIFT (3 PM - 1 AM). Press Brake Operators prepare production equipment for operation by making equipment adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers. Must be a safety-conscious worker.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote Safety as the number one priority for all employees.
  • Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection; completing production control charts; analyzing recordings and making equipment adjustments.
  • Helps train others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures.
  • Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making equipment adjustments; reporting production and quality data; reporting decisions made; referring questions to supervisor.
  • Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, and finished goods); reporting needed changes.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by following preventative maintenance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes and repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed through cooperation with team members and acceptance of re-assignments as directed by supervisors.
  • Report labor hours by entering information correctly in terminal.
  • Perform proper maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
