Our client, a well-established and highly respected engineering and manufacturing organization specializing in advanced energy management and motion control solutions, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team in Western New York!
This is a full-time/direct hire/on-site position
Salary for this role based on experience: $21-$27/HR
Job Responsibilities:
  • First piece inspection of machined parts and final assemblies
  • In-process inspection of machined parts and final assemblies
  • Final inspection of machined parts and final assemblies
  • First Article Inspections as needed
  • Be able to accurately document and record inspection results
  • Perform incoming inspections of raw material
  • Work with close tolerance parts
  • Be able to identify non-conformances and generate reject reports
  • Follow AS9100 quality management system requirements
  • Perform internal audits

Skills & Experience:
  • 2 yr. degree in mechanical technology or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in using the following gauges: Calipers, Micrometers, height gauge, indicators, Bore gauges, and other miscellaneous instruments.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
  • CMM Programming a plus
  • Experience in a machine shop environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to follow quality and safety standards
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
