Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Machine Operator located in Austin, Texas.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Machine Operator role involves operating manufacturing equipment and supporting production activities in a lithium battery environment. This position plays a critical role in keeping production lines moving while ensuring quality, safety, and operational standards are met. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with Engineering and other departments to resolve issues and maintain efficient production flow. The role requires safe handling of lithium battery materials, adherence to established procedures, and a commitment to preventing thermal events through careful execution of daily tasks.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and perform production activities according to work instructions and established procedures.

  • Monitor equipment performance and production output to ensure quality and efficiency standards are achieved.

  • Keep production lines moving by maintaining material flow and communicating shortages or issues to appropriate teams.

  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to troubleshoot process and equipment-related concerns.

  • Follow all safety procedures for handling lithium battery materials and help prevent thermal events through strict attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
