Job description

The STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market in the USA. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking experienced Production Operators (day shift) for the manufacturing processes of the brand new STS start up in Salem, Virginia - Roanoke, VA area. Forklift experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mold changes safely and efficiently
  • Operate overhead crane and mold transfer cart
  • Clean and maintain molds, including wiping tools and cleaning bolsters
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Perform general operator duties as needed during downtime

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Strong attendance record is required
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to support team needs
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks thoroughly
