Job description

Essential Duties:
  • Team: Embody La Farm values through action, example and communication: Exceed
  • Customer Expectations, Quality, Dignity, Community, Learning, Teaching and
  • Innovation.
  • Cleaning: Clean and sanitize dishes (using hand sink and machine wash), dry and put away. Wash floors. Check and clean bathrooms.
  • Porter: Maintain flow of work with clearing dining room bus bins. Receive and put away delivery orders. Dispose of garbage. Break down boxes.
  • Additional growth opportunities in other departments are available for dedicated employees who show an aspiration to learn!

Other Essential Duties:
  • Operations Systems & Procedures
  • Complete open and close checklists.
  • Complete checks, for example, check dining room every 15 minutes.
  • Tray chips correctly.
  • Receive orders, and place, label, date orders accurately.
  • Set up the next shift for success.
  • Ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies.
  • Maintain grade "A" or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards.
  • Uphold company standards and policies for open/closed.
  • Ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • One year of dishwashing experience.
  • Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and accurately meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.

Essential Physical Demands:
  • Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
