Job description

The Tax Deed Closer will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless preparation of title reports, commitments and policies. This full-time position requires a professional with strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a minimum of I year of experience in an industry related role.

POSITION DETAIL:

Job title: Tax Deed Closer
Location: In Office - Tampa FL
Position Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Hourly
Scheduled Hours: 8:30- 5:00 PM (Local Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Title staff in all aspects of the title process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Daily monitoring of incoming orders to include entry & distribution to appropriate parties.
  • Data entry of new orders, updates and final policy requests.
  • Coordinate title staff and closing staff to gather necessary information required for reports, commitments and policies.
  • Clearly and professionally communicate with all parties involved to resolve any issues or questions that may arise during the title process.
  • Track and monitor internal and client timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare title reports, commitments and policies as directed by the title manager.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Tax Deed Closer or similar role in the real estate or title insurance industry.

  • Familiarity with real estate industry terms, documents and processes
  • Good typing skills
  • Familiarity with Ramquest or SoftPro
  • Able to work in the office at least 4 days per week
  • Some title experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a paperless environment
