GENERAL OVERVIEW | Esmeralda Farms, a leading wholesaler in the floral industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITES | The Sales Representative’s duties include:

  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential clients.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of each account.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists, market conditions and product specifications.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual roster analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and delivery schedules.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Promotes sales through other tasks and methods as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS | Candidates must have:

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Familiarity with office software, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and phone systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and cultivate client relationships
  • Ability to meet sales goals
  • Prospecting skills
  • Product knowledge and presentation skills
