Job description

Business Systems Analyst – Insurance P&C

$110,000 - $140,000 + hybrid schedule + medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, parental leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and employee assistance programs.

Join a direct writer auto insurance company operating across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. This role works closely with underwriting, claims, and IT teams to improve insurance applications, support system enhancements, and help drive projects inside an Agile environment.

What you will do:
• Gather business and system requirements for projects and enhancements
• Work with underwriting and claims teams to document workflows and specifications
• Support QA, UAT, issue tracking, and production rollouts
• Partner with developers, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Track sprint and project progress through JIRA
• Support data integration and data quality initiatives

What you will need:
• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst experience within Insurance P&C
• Understanding of underwriting, policy lifecycle, coverages, endorsements, forms, and rating
• Experience working with underwriting and claims applications
• Experience with data integration and SQL queries
• Experience with policy administration platforms such as Duck Creek or Guidewire
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience
