  Role :Hexagon EcoSys Application Support Engineer - GIS  Overland Park - Kansas - USA

Role Summary

Responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of Hexagon EcoSys, an Enterprise Project Performance (EPP) platform used for project controls, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, portfolio management, and project reporting. The role provides L1.5/L2 support, user administration, system configuration, integration monitoring, incident resolution, and vendor coordination. Based on your organization's AMS inventory, EcoSys is used as a project controls application for budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Administration

  • Provide L1.5/L2 support for Hexagon EcoSys users and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and resolve incidents/service requests within SLA.
  • Monitor application availability, performance, and scheduled jobs.
  • Support month-end, forecast, and project reporting activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.

User Access & Security Administration

  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding.
  • Configure security roles, permissions, and workflows.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and audit compliance activities.
  • Maintain user and role documentation.

System Configuration & Data Management

  • Support configuration of business rules, workflows, forms, and templates.
  • Validate and troubleshoot project financial data.
  • Support data imports, exports, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards.

Integration Support & Vendor Release Management

  • Coordinate with Hexagon support teams for product issues.
  • Manage application patches, upgrades, and enhancement deployments.
  • Track vendor cases through closure.

Documentation 

  • Create and maintain SOPs, KB articles, support procedures, and runbooks.
  • Maintain application inventory and configuration documentation.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives.
