We’re looking for a skilled Air Import Coordinator to join our client's growing team near San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating international air import shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate air import shipments from booking through final delivery
  • Liaise with overseas agents, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking partners
  • Prepare and review import documentation (AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA, etc.)
  • Track and trace shipments; provide status updates to clients
  • Resolve service issues and ensure on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with internal sales, operations, and accounting teams

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in air import freight forwarding
  • Working knowledge of international shipping terms and documentation
  • Familiarity with U.S. Customs procedures and AES filings
  • Experience with Cargowise or similar software is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

This is an onsite position

Salary - $55-65K
