Project Manager – PeopleSoft Implementation / Migration

Location: Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in PeopleSoft implementation and migration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience and a proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level PeopleSoft initiatives. This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills while driving projects from planning through successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft implementation and migration projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and executive updates.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Drive issue resolution and manage project dependencies.
  • Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of overall Project Management experience (up to 15 years will also be considered).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing PeopleSoft implementation and/or migration projects.
  • Strong experience leading enterprise application implementation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong risk management, planning, and execution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience with ERP transformation programs.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
