Senior Implementation Consultant Position Overview

The Senior Implementation Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end management of software implementation projects and key client deliverables, with a strong focus on Insights and AI offerings.

This role partners closely with Irth clients to understand their business needs, translate those needs into functional requirements, customize and implement software solutions, and provide training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. The Senior Implementation Consultant serves as a strategic advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet client expectations, business objectives, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can influence decision-makers, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills, strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities Project & Client Management
  • Lead and manage assigned software implementation projects from initiation through completion, maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver projects within established KPIs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct post-sale client meetings to collect the data, business information, and requirements necessary to configure and customize software solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations, project scope, risks, and deliverables.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate multiple project initiatives while effectively managing internal and external resources.
  • Lead regular project meetings, provide status updates, maintain project documentation, and contribute to executive-level reporting.
  • Maintain accurate project status, time entries, and customer communications within company systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
Business & Requirements Analysis
  • Lead business-requirements sessions to understand client processes, evaluate priorities and feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Assess opportunities to leverage Insights AI and other AI-driven capabilities to improve client workflows and business outcomes.
  • Analyze clients’ current (“as-is”) business processes and design future-state (“to-be”) processes within Irth products.
  • Identify process gaps, enhancement opportunities, and potential product or feature requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for technical and development teams.
  • Document requirements through statements of work, process-flow diagrams, wireframes, configuration documentation, and other project artifacts.
  • Ensure proposed enhancements and solutions align with overall product strategy and provide meaningful value to clients.
Software Configuration & Implementation
  • Customize and configure software systems based on individual client needs, specifications, and approved requirements.
  • Lead clients through system configuration using a Train-the-Trainer approach, developing client-side subject matter experts who can effectively support the solution.
  • Demonstrate software functionality and provide guidance on system capabilities, workflows, and best practices.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned implementation projects, including projects involving Insights AI.
  • Apply strong underwriting and product knowledge to support reviews for content accuracy, business intent, and overall solution effectiveness.
Technical & Development Collaboration
  • Partner closely with internal technical, product, and development teams to coordinate client enhancements and upcoming sprint activities.
  • Establish and maintain an effective communication cadence with technical team members and project leads.
  • Work with internal teams to establish development timelines and ETAs for planned enhancements.
  • Communicate changes to development timelines and ETAs to impacted stakeholders, including the rationale for adjustments.
  • Actively collaborate with development teams to ensure defined user stories are accurately reflected in technical designs as requirements are translated into development sprints.
  • Coordinate the prioritization and execution of client enhancements while balancing project needs with broader product strategy.
Testing, Training & Support
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate functionality and secure client sign-off on new features and enhancements.
  • Provide implementation training and ongoing guidance to ensure clients can effectively use and support the implemented solution.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues and coordinate appropriate resolution with internal teams.
  • Provide ongoing client support and ensure solutions continue to meet business needs and applicable regulatory requirements.
Process & Documentation
  • Create and maintain detailed project and process documentation, including:
    • Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • Business and functional requirements
    • Process-flow diagrams
    • Wireframes
    • Flowcharts
    • System configuration documentation
    • Project plans and status reports
    • UAT documentation
  • Incorporate risk identification and mitigation strategies into project planning.
