About The Company:

Our client is seeking an experienced HR technology professional to provide short-term project support for its Paycom Leave Module implementation and optimization initiative.

Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Paycom Leave Module Project Specialist for a part-time, two-week contract assignment. This individual will support the review, configuration, testing, and optimization of the Paycom Leave Module and related leave-management processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Paycom experience and a strong understanding of PTO, leave, accruals, eligibility rules, workflows, and HRIS processes. This is a focused, short-term engagement requiring someone who can quickly assess the current environment, identify gaps, and provide practical recommendations and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the current Paycom Leave Module configuration and related processes.
  • Evaluate PTO, leave, accrual, eligibility, and workflow configurations.
  • Identify configuration gaps, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with Paycom Leave Module configuration and optimization.
  • Validate leave balances, accrual calculations, eligibility rules, and workflows.
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with HR and Payroll to ensure leave processes are accurately reflected in Paycom.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system or configuration issues.
  • Document findings, recommendations, and completed changes.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal HR/Payroll team members.
  • Prepare a final summary of completed work and recommended next steps.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Paycom, preferably including the Leave/Time Off functionality.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, configurations, or system optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of PTO, accrual, absence, and leave-management processes.
  • Experience with system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a short project timeline.
  • Experience working with HR and Payroll teams preferred.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, state/local leave requirements, and other leave programs is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • This is a part-time, two-week contract assignment.
  • The engagement is project-based and focused specifically on the Paycom Leave Module.
  • The successful candidate should be able to quickly assess the existing environment and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up time.
