Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in coordinating routine activities associated with a statewide autism research and service delivery initiative, including participant tracking, project implementation, and administrative support.
  • Serve as a point of contact for families participating in the project, providing information about study procedures, scheduling activities, facilitating communication, and supporting participant engagement throughout the evaluation process.
  • Manage research and program data, including data entry, quality assurance, database maintenance.
  • Supervise, train, and support graduate students, research assistants, and other project personnel as appropriate.
  • Support onboarding and implementation activities associated with expansion of the project into new public health districts, community provider networks, and additional phases of the contract.
  • Assist with project evaluation activities, including monitoring outcomes, preparing summary reports, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate meetings, trainings, and communications with internal and external stakeholders, including community psychologists, early intervention providers, public health partners, and research collaborators.
  • May support grant writing and funding applications.
  • Conduct literature reviews and assist with the development of presentations, manuscripts, conference submissions, and other dissemination products. This includes collaborating with faculty investigators and project staff to analyze, interpret, and disseminate findings through reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience coordinating research, clinical, public health, or community-based programs.
  • Experience working with families, children, or individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with REDCap, research databases, data management, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Experience training and/or supervising students, trainees, or research assistants.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Interest in autism research, health services research, implementation science, community partnerships, and dissemination of research findings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, business management, or related field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Note: An approved CAS Exception is required for anyone who is charged to a federal grant or contract under this job code.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
