Job Description

Turner & Townsendย are seeking an experiencedย Senior Project Managerย toย join our team in support ofย the Data Center team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.ย ย 

Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supplyย chainsย to deliver compliant projects.ย 
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid scheduleย slips.ย 
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilizedย 
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects.ย 
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports asย required.ย 
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards areย appliedย correctly.ย 
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.ย 
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.ย 
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.ย 
  • Manage andย monitorย local design teamsย in accordance withย commission criteria.ย 
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, generalย contractorsย and regional stakeholders.ย 
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field.ย 
  • Provideย expertiseย for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance whereย required.ย 
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals,ย timelinesย and costs from architects,ย contractorsย and suppliers.ย 
  • Client management -ย assistย in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.ย 
  • Strategic Thinking -ย providesย advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients'ย objectivesย and businessย objectives.ย 
  • Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each projectย isย captured.ย 
  • Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processesย 
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.ย 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience.ย 
  • Minimumย 5-7 years of relevantย project managementย experience.ย ย 
  • Strong organizational and management skills -ย the abilityย to work effectively and collaboratively withย theย broader team.ย 
  • Effective presentation skills.ย 
  • Proficiencyย in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills.ย ย 
Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role isย $120K-$150Kย per year.ย Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.ย Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
