Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company focused on implementing EPIC Modules. They are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage projects, ensuring user demands are met while adhering to established methodologies and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Follow PMO methodology and processes to lead and manage projects end-to-end.
• Responsible for creating and managing project scope, resources, and budget. Analyze and understand business requirements, vendor statements of work, and other requirement documents to clearly outline project artifacts.
• Expected to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality in deliverables, implementation, and customer experience.
• Manage complex, enterprise-level projects with minimal oversight. Enterprise-level projects include multiple ministries/locations. Responsible for bringing the right leadership, resources, vendors, and stakeholders together to organize and facilitate project kick-offs.
• Senior PMs are responsible for managing multiple complex, enterprise-wide projects simultaneously by following PPMO processes and maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Senior PMs are expected to provide oversight to Project Coordinators, PM I, and PM II. They are also responsible for the successful implementation of the projects they oversee.
• Ensure PPMO processes are followed, and artifacts are developed and saved in the appropriate documentation repository.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and ready for external audit according to PPMO processes and procedures.
• Responsible for creating the Charter, Project Plan, Budget Tracker, RACI, Weekly Status Reports, Project Steering Committee presentation materials, GLRA, and Change Management documentation.
• Establish critical path milestones and report status to executive leadership regularly. Must develop a concrete project plan before moving to implementation. Project progress must be led and tracked according to this plan. Managing projects without a plan is not acceptable.
• Identify dependencies and risks in advance, work with stakeholders to create mitigation plans, and actively monitor and report progress.
• Adhere to PPMO departmental policies, procedures, and documentation requirements. All project documentation is subject to internal and external audits and must be meticulously maintained.
• Facilitate planning and design sessions to clearly define in-scope, out-of-scope elements, and overall project design.
• Collaborate with IS Training and Vendors to plan, prepare, and maintain documentation related to programming, systems operations, and user guidance.
• Translate business specifications into user documentation.
• Plan, write, and oversee user support documentation efforts, including online help resources.
• Ensure users are properly trained on the operation and functionality of computer applications and associated business processes.
• Validate user competency in the use of information systems prior to go-live or major changes.

• Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements, vendor statements of work, and other requirement documents.
• Experience managing multiple complex, enterprise-level projects with minimal oversight.
• Ability to bring together leadership, resources, vendors, and stakeholders for project kick-offs.
• Experience providing oversight to Project Coordinators, PM I, and PM II.
• Ability to ensure PPMO processes are followed and artifacts are developed and saved in the appropriate documentation repository.
• Experience creating project documentation such as Charter, Project Plan, Budget Tracker, RACI, Weekly Status Reports, Project Steering Committee presentation materials, GLRA, and Change Management documentation.
• Ability to establish critical path milestones and report status to executive leadership regularly.
• Experience identifying dependencies and risks in advance and creating mitigation plans.
• Adherence to PPMO departmental policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
