Division: Construction - Concrete Paving

Supervisor: Area Manager, Construction

Job Summary: Under the direction of the construction area manager, the project manager is responsible to manage and review estimates and assigned construction projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.

  • Estimate and manage construction projects.

  • Mentor and train construction interns, project engineers, and field engineers.

  • Manage and review estimates.

  • Monitor employee training and certification.

  • Maintain recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.

  • Project, organize, and implement project budgets and work under contract.

  • Work to resolve procedures, complaints and construction issues.

  • Monitor and control project to ensure it is completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

  • Formulate reports concerning work progress, costs, and scheduling.

  • Review, understand, and adhere to all union contracts.

  • Maintain insurable driving record.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
