DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice requires the services of a Project manager for the CAPPS Financials and Human Resources implementation project. This position will be dedicated to this project.
The core duties include project oversight, planning, project tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the project team.
Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
Direct the activities of resources in line with the business objectives of the project.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, using collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Must be able to work off-hours at different phases of the project.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).
