About the role 

We are growing our US professional services team to meet the demands of our expanding enterprise customer base, and we're looking for a senior team member experienced in driving complex software implementation projects. Dayshape is a highly complex and configurable product - our implementation consultants bring a consultative mindset and deep expertise in leading scoping workshops with Resource Management and IT teams, hands-on data mapping and configuration, and a genuine understanding of the big picture to ensure customers get the most out of our product.

You will enjoy winning the hearts and minds of senior customer stakeholders and leveraging your experience to develop internal and external processes. Above all else, you will be a problem-solver, independently figuring out how to solve novel challenges and bring about business transformation that will deliver on our purpose to improve people's working lives.

You will be joining a fast-growing US professional services team - we've grown to a team of nine in just 18 months. Whilst Dayshape is no longer a start-up, we're still moving fast: we value people who think creatively, adapt quickly, and are energized by building something. We want people who work smart and are prepared to roll up their sleeves and collaborate in growing our business and building our reputation in the US.

The job will involve travel to customer sites as required through the course of the project. Anticipate a few days of travel each quarter.

What you'll do 

Work with deep focus on 1-2 enterprise customer accounts at a time, delivering real impact through the following:   

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand the customer's current and future working processes and existing systems 
  • Identify technical gaps, document requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery 
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into configuration and data specifications 
  • Provide thorough assessments of current-state and future-state business processes to establish technical solutions and conduct cost-benefit analyses 
  • Deliver comprehensive demos of Dayshape to new and prospective customers, contextualizing how the product can be used to transform their business processes 
  • Design and configure complex workflows tailored to each customer's operational requirements 
  • Run large onsite UAT sessions, managing issue trackers and tickets to ensure timely resolution, working with product to translate enhancement requests 
  • Prepare and deliver customer 'train the trainer' training 
  • Work with large, complex data sets 

As a senior member of the team you will:   

  • Support the wider team with technical guidance 
  • Identify areas of improvement for customers and Dayshape's rollout methodology 
  • Mentor less experienced members of the team 
  • Support the production of Statements of Work by inputting into solutioning the implementation of Dayshape

Requirements

About you 

  • Extensive experience in a similar role involving consultative SaaS implementations 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills - able to break down complex business requirements, identify practical solutions, and articulate these clearly to both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Significant experience working with or within large global enterprises, including accountancy, professional services firms, media agencies, or IT consultancies 
  • Hands-on experience configuring complex software solutions and designing integrations with CRM and ERP solutions - experience with ADF, JSON, SQL, and JavaScript will be useful 
  • Strong customer-facing skills; you know how to win hearts and minds and guide stakeholders through complex business change 
  • A consultative attitude and demonstrable experience delivering solutions to customers' requirements
  • The ability to contextualize pain points in a customer's business and apply and configure Dayshape to drive meaningful efficiencies and improvements 
  • A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving 
  • Experience mentoring less experienced team members 
  • Confidence deputizing for a Project Manager when needed, with the ability to keep projects on track and stakeholders aligned 
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed team while travelling to customer sites as needed. 
  • The ability and attitude to contribute from day one!

  • Experience implementing Workday or other PSA solutions 
  • Experience working in resource management and/or the accounting industry 
  • Experience leading current-state and future-state workshops as part of an implementation project 
  • Implementation pre-sales (solution consultant) experience

Working Details 

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). We typically work from 09:00 - 17:30 from Monday to Friday, though we are flexible around this to suit our customer' working hours depending on their time zone.
