Sr. SAP Project Leader - Consultant
The Sr. SAP Project Leader is responsible for leading and drivinghigh impact, cross-functional SAP implementation projects through all phases of theproject life cycle. Thisindividual will be responsible for all of the project planning and controllingactivities such as scope, schedule, and budget management. In addition to being able to manage theproject, this individual needs exceptional leadership skills in order toproperly motivate the team and handle the people dynamics of the project. The Sr. SAP Project Leader needs experiencein leading cross-functional teams across various organizations through requirementsdefinition, functional specifications, detailed design, coding, testing,operations training, and implementation activities relating to the deploymentof SAP. This position is not suitable for administrative project managers. This individual must be hands-on and able toget into the details of the project while maintaining the broader business goalsand objectives. The Sr. SAP ProjectLeader must be able to balance business goals and objectives and the implementation of SAP within an organization.
Therole of Sr. SAP Project Leader is a contract position, offers competitivecompensation and may require weekly travel. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company. Applicantsbased in Atlanta or the Southeast would be preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years business project management experience
  • Current PMP Certification or equivalent
  • Information Technology perspective - need to understand the full SDLC
  • Business Operations perspective - need to understand the operational impacts of process improvements and SAP implementations
