POSITION SUMMARY

As the Sr. Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of projects related to identified business initiatives on schedule and with the expected results. Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with the ability to multi-task and communicate within all areas of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Initiate, plan, schedule, execute and track project timelines and budgets from inception through production ramp.

· Lead cross-functional teams by coordinating people and processes to ensure project tasks and deliverables are completed on time and with the expected results.

· Ability to understand business processes and help map those processes to technology solutions.

· Effectively communicate project status to all team members and project stakeholders.

· Ensure project expenditures are in line with the engineering budget.

· Identify and manage project risks, contingencies and mitigation strategies.

· Maintain Company standards and methodologies on all projects.

· Ability to estimate project schedules and budgets based on high-level project requirements.

· Track and report on objectives and key results in support of the Company’s strategic direction.

· Create and maintain project systems and documentation including project notes and action items.

· Train and mentor cross-functional teams and other project managers on the ANS Project Management and Product Development processes and best practices.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· AAS or BS/BA in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum five years of experience managing cross-functional teams and projects involving mechanical, electrical and/or software engineering disciplines in a production environment

· Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills

· Experience with CRM, MRP or ERP systems and manufacturing operations

· Experience with implementation or upgrade of MRP or ERP systems a plus

· Must be a self-starter and take initiative with little supervision

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Familiarity with TL 9000 or similar standards and associated processes

LANGUAGE AND PEOPLE SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent cross-functional team leadership skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, databases, and E-mail software, preferably with Microsoft Office products. Experience with software-based project management tools Experience with CRM, MRP or ERP systems

MENTAL DEMANDS

Ability to multi-task and keep track of several projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to focus on detailed information for long periods of time. Develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers. Requires repetitive review of information and nearly mistake free work performance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to type and view computer screens for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in an office environment and on a production floor, interfacing through multiple mediums servicing internal customers. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

COMPENSATION

Pay Range: $90,000-$130,000/year

Status: Exempt
