Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational security goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for cybersecurity initiates, detailing scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the defined success criteria.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful execution of security projects.
    • Communication project progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, implementing effective strategics to mitigate these risks.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and enforce preventative measures to safeguard digital assets.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure all cybersecurity projects comply with relevant standards and regulations.
    • Develop and implement security policies and protocols to protect information systems.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that all aspects of the security initiative are aligned toward achieving desired outcomes.
    • Train and mentor members on new security protocols and technologies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports on the progress of projects to stakeholders, highlighting any challenges and proposed solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IFSM or Cybersecurity 
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience 
  • PMP required, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • CISM and SAFeAgile Scrum Master
  • Superb understanding of ITIL 4 Foundation
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC 2.0, and FISMA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members and management.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
