Job Description

Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue for The Cantio Hotel and its food and beverage outlets by developing client relationships, executing sales strategies, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role focuses on corporate accounts, group business, catering opportunities, community partnerships, and overall revenue growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Primary responsibility is outside sales calls, including developing and maintaining LNR and key brand corporate accounts.
  • Generate weekend and need-period group revenue opportunities.
  • Meet established sales goals, deadlines, room night targets, business travel, and catering targets.
Sales Strategy & Business Development
  • Anticipate market demand and identify opportunities to capture group and long-term business.
  • Maintain a sales-minded approach toward all responsibilities.
  • Take tactical and strategic actions to achieve desired sales results.
  • Implement Prime Time Selling.
  • Develop and maintain productive account management strategies.
Client Relations & Account Management
  • Represent the hotel with prospective clients and community partners.
  • Negotiate account details and contracts.
  • Prepare formal sales proposals.
  • Lead site inspections and proactive sales efforts.
  • Maintain accurate files, records, and trace systems within Delphi/Salesforce.
Operations Collaboration
  • Partner with Catering, Banquet, and hotel departments to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Attend communication meetings including business reviews, staff meetings, and BEO meetings.
  • Keep departments informed of client needs and changes.
Budgeting & Financial Management
  • Assist with sales and catering budget management.
  • Monitor ROI on sales initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years total sales experience, including two years hospitality or hotel sales preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Delphi.fdc, and brand systems preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Training
Complete all Brand and Schahet Hotels specific training requirements within prescribed timelines.
