Job Description
AbbVie's APEX (Analytics and Performance Excellence) team is looking for a strong analytical candidate to join a high-performing team supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives. This role will be a trusted advisor to SKYRIZI Gastroenterology commercial leadership, leveraging superior customer and marketplace understanding that will deliver insights highlighting business opportunities and guiding brand strategy. The Manager of Marketing Analytics will design, implement, manage, analyze, and effectively communicate marketing analytics and related initiatives. This individual will derive high-impact learnings from behavioral analytics, which includes developing and deploying analytic solutions based on business needs and supporting the measurement of brand strategies and tactics at a national and sub-national level. The ability to influence decisions based upon careful and strategic thinking and understanding of the business is critical to success.
This role will collaborate with key APEX partners (Patient Services, Market Access, etc) and other cross-functional partners and internal customers such as Finance and Marketing to design, build, and implement reporting, analytics, and optimization solutions as well as develop a holistic perspective and recommendations to commercial team stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the analytics partner to the SKYRIZI Gastro commercial team, delivering a broad range of solutions from reporting and tracking to advanced analytics in support of key business questions and strategic priorities.
  • Generate insights and business implications from patient, physician, account, and practice-level analytics to deepen understanding of market dynamics, brand performance, and growth opportunities; contribute to monthly business reviews and annual brand planning; and develop fact-based recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Apply strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data, data science, innovative analytic approaches and advanced models to develop robust, business-relevant analytics and synthesize findings into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Partner effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and external suppliers to shape analytic strategies, deliver integrated insights, and expand the use of advanced analytics methods.
  • Ensure all marketing analytics activities are conducted in compliance with financial, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a concentration in marketing/sales/quantitative analysis preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information is required, including use of this information in the development of business plans and strategies.
  • Experience within the Pharma/BioTech industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages
  • Deep hands-on expertise in current analytical methods & tools (including machine learning)
  • Advanced experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data sources like IQVIA/SHS Data (APLD, DDD, Xponent, NSP, NPA), and Specialty pharmacy data and one or multiple analytic domains (promo optimization, digital, launch support, etc) is a plus
  • Strong analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving
  • Advanced agility, project management and prioritization skills
  • Advanced vendor management skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively
  • High motivation, strong work-ethic and positive attitude while working under tight timelines
