Job description

Description:

About TrackVia

TrackVia is a leading workflow management platform that helps organizations streamline operations, automate processes, maintain compliance and gain visibility into their work. We empower teams across industries and government sectors to build scalable business applications without the complexity of traditional software development.

At TrackVia, you’ll join a collaborative, innovative team focused on helping businesses transform how work gets done. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our brand story, influence go-to-market strategy, and create content that makes a measurable impact on business growth.

Position Overview

As an Implementation Engineer you will work with new and existing customers to build and architect their customized applications on the TrackVia platform. As part of the Technical Solutions team, you will own the technical build end-to-end — from data modeling through complex workflow automation — while ensuring customers have a smooth, well-managed transition deploying new software within their organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects on a schedule from scoping to launch
  • Design relational data models and build complex, multi-table application architectures — including advanced business logic, conditional workflows, and cross-table dependencies
  • Build and troubleshoot integrations and automations (e.g., Workato, APIs, webhooks) connecting TrackVia to other systems in a customer's tech stack
  • Interface with customers on ongoing application improvements, new workflows, and incident triage — including hands-on technical debugging
  • Coordinate with Customer Success Managers on customer strategy and growth
  • Develop, update, enhance, and troubleshoot applications for customers, diagnosing root-cause issues in workflows, integrations, and data structures
  • Meet with customers to discuss needs and gather requirements, translating ambiguous business needs into precise technical specifications
  • Provide visibility into project progress — completed work, pending tasks, build status — for all stakeholders including sales, support, customer success, and supervisor
  • Translate scope into a comprehensive project plan and build the underlying architecture and workflow of the application
  • Design databases and build tables, forms, filtered/formatted reports, dashboards, and set up user permissions
  • Set proper expectations and meet project milestones
  • Assist with app deployment and user-acceptance-training on the TrackVia platform
  • Conduct post-project retrospectives to assess opportunities for further development and internal process improvement
  • Advocate and promote "best practices" for long-term app success & ownership
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including reusable technical patterns and build standards across the team

Requirements:

  • Strong data modeling expertise with deep understanding of relational database principles (normalization, joins, schema design)
  • Experience with integration/automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, or similar) — building and debugging multi-step automations
  • Experience with APIs (REST, webhooks, authentication patterns) sufficient to scope and troubleshoot integrations independently
  • Consultative scoping and problem definition experience — able to translate business requirements into technical architecture
  • Analytical, root-cause-driven problem solving
  • Excellent written communications: clarity, brevity, grammar
  • Excellent verbal communications: articulate, cooperative, patient, strong listening skills — comfortable navigating both technical and executive-facing conversations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, logical functions, charts, reports)
  • SaaS application experience, ideally in a low-code/no-code or platform configuration context
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with equivalent hands-on experience
  • Travel Required: 4-6 days per quarter

Benefits

  • Flex PTO
  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan with employer match
  • Paid Holidays
  • Downtown Denver office with paid parking and gym
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Hybrid work environment

Compensation

$80k- $100k plus 20% bonus

Requirements:
