Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Berlitz is in search of a dynamic and results-driven Implementation Manager to lead projects within its internal digital transformation practice, including but not limited, to its enterprise application transformation, general IT projects, and digital learning products.  

The ideal Implementation Manager candidate will oversee the project delivery and implementation of new technical systems and solutions throughout the technology organization. This role is expected to will bring significant experience in software implementation and business analysis while providing strategic project implantation expertise. The expectation is to retain a strategic thinker who can effectively manage complex projects, liaise with cross-functional teams, and drive successful implementations. A proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, along with exceptional leadership skills is expected. 

The position will regularly work across multiple time zones globally and engage with other business units and users as needed. The role will support our cloud system platforms including but not limited to CRM, financial systems, third-party integrations, or similar applications while also serving as subject matter expert in some areas delivering high-quality solutions in areas such as BI, data warehousing, business architecture, or reporting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of a variety of software solutions, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. 
  • Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. 
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. 
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center. 
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. 
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures. 
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. 
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. 
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on state-of-the-art practices. 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. 
  • Identify project level metrics and KPIs relevant to project success 
  • Conduct post project reviews to collect data, analyze trends and report on performance 
  • Work with the business community to document functional test scenarios, test plans, and end-user acceptance testing 

QUALIFICATIONS/ RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • Five+ years of experience in cross-disciplinary management of technology projects and Business Analyst experience is a must.  
  • Experience with cloud data tools and platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake, etc)  
  • Experience with Agile or other iterative project management methodologies expected 
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and effectively manage competing priorities and stakeholders. 
  • Highly organized and adaptable to a fast-paced dynamic environment 
  • Must be able to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects 
  • Experience using platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Teams 
  • Strong documentation skills 
  • Occasional after-hours work as needed. 
  • Ability to manage and work with a team or as an individual contributor

SALARY: $110-125 annually 

Work Environment: Business casual corporate office environment
