Job description

Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Implementation Specialist to join the Systems team! The Implementation Specialist will install software from various vendors in support of iWAREHOUSE product sales. This person will also train the customer(s) on how use the various hardware/software interfaces and be available for on-going backend support on these as needed by our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with the iWAREHOUSE sales project team prior to the sale to make sure they have current system requirement information and help understand current functionality of the various iWAREHOUSE product offerings.
  • Work with the customer and their IT staff during the implementation process to establish the required environment to connect the iWAREHOUSE hardware to the customer network and server(s) and client computers as needed.
  • Once iWAREHOUSE is installed this position will train, or assist in training, as needed for the truck hardware interface as well as the software that is available.
  • Will conduct web-based training as needed to support iWAREHOUSE product(s).
  • Will assist Raymond West field technicians in answering IT related questions about the iWAREHOUSE product(s).

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, all levels of management, and employees of the Raymond West and Raymond Factory.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required'
  • Proficient in IT aspects; setting up permissions, server setup (both virtual and physical), Wi-Fi connectivity, software installation and customer support.
  • MS Windows OS, command line network troubleshooting (ping, ipconfig, tracert, etc.), TCP/IP protocol, network encryption (WPA, WPA2, Enterprise level with and without cert files).
  • Willing to attend seminars and classes to update/improve various skills.
  • Capable of making sound decisions taking into consideration relevant facts and conditions.
  • Professional appearance in accordance with company policies.
  • Willing to travel out of town overnight as necessary.
  • Able to deal with customers via phone, email and/or web-based interface.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly and perform accurately and neatly with a degree of flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to comply with the employee handbook.

Education/Experience:
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Travel Requirement:
  • 50% (Local & Nationwide)
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West

Physical Requirements:
  • This position will be based onsite in the office with required travel to customer facilities
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Pay Range:
  • The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
