Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Implementation Manager to join the Global Program Systems team, driving the configuration, deployment, and optimization of a cloud-based construction management platform used by global data center construction teams. You will serve as one of the subject matter experts (SME) and key contributor on system capabilities, owning the full implementation lifecycle - from requirements gathering and configuration through testing, training, and post-launch optimization. This role demands hands-on system configuration, cross-functional coordination, and direct user enablement to deliver measurable value to internal AWS teams and external vendor partners worldwide. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-obsessed, and thrives working independently to prioritize, scope, and execute deliverables on a global scale. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, feature rollouts, and system functionality that directly impacts construction delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and driving structure without constraining business objectives. You must demonstrate the ability to influence without authority across subject matter experts spanning broad.
This is a high-ownership role where you will shape how a global user base interacts with critical construction management tools - influencing both system strategy and day-to-day operations. We're looking for someone who combines platform expertise with strong program management instincts and a bias for action.
This role sits within AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery - a high-performing organization responsible for the design, construction, and operation of industry-leading data center facilities. You will collaborate with global stakeholders including construction program managers, sourcing teams, and external software vendors to implement system improvements that drive operational efficiency on a scale.

Key job responsibilities
The software product is intended to provide a single platform for collaboration between AWS and external vendors to deliver some of the most technical, cost-efficient and fast paced data center construction projects in the world. The Systems Program Manager will be responsible for:
• Managing existing and new system configuration of a third-party construction management software, providing support to global internal and external system users.
• Acting as SME on capabilities of the construction management software.
• Working with global teams to implement systems and process improvements.
• Utilizing team metrics to identify pinch points within current processes and implement solutions to address efficiency issues.
• Working closely and effectively with the third-party software company to manage overall performance, including the identification, communication, documentation, implementation, and resolution of system related issues and enhancements.
• Scoping and driving implementation of feature enhancements or improvements.
• Providing primary point of contact and ownership of ongoing system implementation and functionality.
• Developing, managing and reporting on system policies and compliance.
• Creating and supporting large scale, cross company technical innovations/solutions for complex business problems.
• Guiding and influencing people and processes in pursuit of the teams' goals and objectives
• Driving continuous improvements and documenting best practices post launch.
• Monitoring user adoption post-training / implementation and own user satisfaction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with construction management, project management, commissioning, systems administration, site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise product management.
- Experience with the full lifecycle of a software launch including configuration, user management, and issue resolution or significant experience with portions of the lifecycle.
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, operate effectively in ambiguous environments, and manage multiple competing priorities.
- High ownership, biased for action, and earn trust.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of highly scalable systems experience. Experience in a technology company environment with experience administering Procore or similar construction management software (SaaS), including system integrations (APIs, data syncs) and familiarity with the software implementation lifecycle.
- Experience in data center or mission critical design and/or construction environments.
- Experience working in a complex corporate environment with significant dependencies with teams outside of immediate reporting chains.
- Drive to proactively and continually deepen your level of technical depth on data center design, construction and industry practices.
- Procore Certified Professional or equivalent construction management software certification.
- Experience working with external vendors/partners to manage platform performance, issue resolution, and feature requests within complex corporate environments with significant cross-team dependencies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
