SUMMARY: The Training Coordinator will assist in the implementation, coordination, and facilitation of company-wide training programs at assigned locations. This role will help maintain the required training programs for Plant Locations, Production Positions, Technical Roles, and Salaried Roles. The Training Coordinator will be held accountable to the Training Compliance Dashboard for their assigned locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, coordination, & facilitation of various training programs in required languages.
  • Maintain a site-specific learning and development calendar.
  • Send out weekly training reports to Production Supervisors & Area Managers.
  • Send out bi-weekly training reports to Plant Wide Management on Training Compliance.
  • Review and enter Training Records for assigned location in George's Learning Management System.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of training by assessing effectiveness, sustainment and return on investment.
  • Answer day-to-day questions regarding required trainings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Required
    • High School Diploma
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred
    • Previous experience with tools used for creating trainings and video editing such as but not limited to Canva, Audacity, Articulate 360, Vyond, Wondershare, Vimeo, etc.
    • Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Marshallese.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Human Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
