Overview

Instacart is seeking a reliable and execution-focused Implementation Specialist to support Caper Cart deployments across retail partners. This role is critical in enabling scalable, high-quality launches by providing in-store support for testing, training reinforcement, and launch execution. The Implementation Specialist Specialist works closely with Implementation and Operations teams to ensure carts are fully functional, store teams are supported, and launches are set up for success. This role is designed to provide local, in-market support for deployment execution, complementing the Implementation teamโ€™s focus on site visits and training. This is a 3 month contract position.

About the Job In-Store Execution Support
  • Support end-to-end testing of Caper Carts to ensure full functionality ahead of launch
  • Assist with cart setup, staging, and validation to ensure readiness for customer use
  • Execute key in-store tasks aligned to deployment timelines and checklists
Launch & Post-Launch Support
  • Provide on-site support during launch to troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Assist customers and store teams with Caper Cart usage as needed
  • Reinforce best practices to drive early adoption and smooth customer experience
Training Reinforcement
  • Support Implementation team by reinforcing training with store associates
  • Help ensure store teams are confident in core workflows (checkout flow, cart usage, troubleshooting basics)
  • Assist with โ€œtrain-the-trainerโ€ execution where applicable
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain cart readiness, including charging, cleanliness, and proper placement
  • Identify and elevate issues related to hardware, software, or store operations
  • Provide feedback to Implementation and Operations teams on store performance and opportunities for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Implementation Managers and Ops Leads to execute deployment plans
  • Support communication between store teams and internal stakeholders during launch, including across multiple deployment locations as needed.
  • Adapt to evolving deployment strategies and support continuous improvement efforts
About You Minimum Qualifications
  • You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • You are comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a broader team
  • You enjoy working directly with store teams and customers to solve problems
  • You take ownership of your work and contribute to successful, high-quality launches
  • Experience in retail, field operations, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, in-store environment
  • Comfortable with light technical troubleshooting and learning new tools
  • Ability to travel in-market (within 2.5 hours) regularly
  • Flexibility to travel out-of market (within U.S.) up to 40% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting retail technology or in-store deployments
  • Familiarity with training or onboarding store teams
  • Prior experience in contractor or field-based roles

Hourly Rate- $46-$50/hour
