Prudential Annuities is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Senior Account Manager, to join our expansion efforts within the IMO channel. Reporting to the Vice President of IMO Relationship Management, this role focuses on identifying new growth opportunities within the IMO market, driving sales, and enhancing Prudential's market presence by delivering innovative solutions tailored to Broker Dealers, Intermediaries as well as Independent Insurance Agents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve Sales and Growth Targets: Develop and implement a business plan, in partnership with Internal Sales Associate, focused on achieving key performance indicators, including sales and growth targets for Prudential's expanding IMO suite of products.
  • Relationship Development & Cultivation: Identify and engage potential IMO's to build strategic partnerships that align with Prudential's growth objectives. In addition, strengthen existing IMO relationships through consistent communication, support, and collaboration, ensuring long-term partnerships that contribute to sustained revenue growth and greater market share.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key functional areas, including Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Service, and Legal & Compliance, to gain comprehensive insights into financials and competitive intelligence.
  • Product Support and Prioritization: Collaborate with the Product team to ensure that distribution needs are prioritized effectively. Support the team in balancing competing demands to maximize product impact and market success.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an expert in the Fixed Annuity market, providing insights into trends, products, and service. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to guide strategic decision-making and support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enterprise Development: Direct and develop business strategies that align with Prudential's brand image and ethical standards. Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and contribute to a positive company reputation.
  • Training and Development: Assist in creating and delivering sales training programs for Prudential's intermediary sales partners focused on the Fixed product portfolio, ensuring they have a keen understanding of Prudential's key differentiators and overall value proposition.

What you'll need:
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive; willingness and ability to operate in fast pace and, at time, ambiguous environment
  • 5-7 years of financial services sales experience within the IMO channel
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of annuities and related concepts
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve
  • 50-70% travel required
