Job description

Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking a Product Development Program Manager to join our team. This position will be a hybrid office (3x2) role as long as you live within 50 miles of our Raleigh, NC facility.
Relocation benefits will be provided within the United States only.
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish to ensure business goals are met or exceeded. The role also involves driving continuous improvement and lean culture to achieve successful project outcomes, and providing cross-functional teams with processes, tools, and systems to optimize productivity and support organic growth.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

What you'll do:
  • Successfully execute and manage large product development projects across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Collaborate with functional organizations to develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource plans necessary for project completion.
  • Work with functional teams, program managers, and the executive team to enhance the maturity of program management practices throughout the organization.
  • Create comprehensive business plans for product development projects.
  • Address ambiguous challenges by applying expertise in project management, change management, and communications.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of Five (5) years New Product Development experience in project management, product engineering or product design/development

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • MBA or master's degree
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects
  • Experienced in electrical industry
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Experience with SAFe agile methodologies

Skills:
  • Experience with project scheduling and resource planning
  • Experience completing financial analysis
  • Knowledge of product development process
  • Excellent verbal/ written communications skills
  • Experience leading and collaborating across an organization to achieve goal
