Job Summary:

NOT A REMOTE POSITION, MUST BE IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE FROM WHITE PLAINS NY

We are seeking an Immigration Paralegal with at least 1-2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, dependable, friendly, and have strong communications skills (both written and verbal).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare immigration forms for family, business, removal and humanitarian cases. Experience with forms I-130, I-485, I-601, I-601A, I-864, 42B, I-589, DS-260 and others.
  • Experience drafting motions for immigration court and managing a removal docket (required)
  • Draft declarations, letters, and other correspondences.
  • File motions and applications to Immigration Court.
  • Prepare visa petition and other consular processing support.
  • Provide general case management over a busy docket, including tracking case deadlines and processing times.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with the following software programs preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe DC.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full Time. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree or higher in related field is required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Paralegal in an immigration law firm

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (Annual Salary) Salary commensurate with experience.
