Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with reliable internet access. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges and create effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adapting techniques to fit each client's circumstances and preferences.
• Engage in regular collaborative discussions with clients to establish and measure therapeutic goals, adjusting the treatment approach as needed based on progress or feedback.
• Utilize secure teletherapy platforms to provide care for clients who may prefer virtual sessions, ensuring confidentiality and comfort.
• Maintain timely and organized records of client interactions and treatment strategies, adhering to ethical standards and best practices in documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities such as workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision to sharpen clinical skills and stay informed of the latest practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-harm ideation. Your ability to connect with clients and establish trust will be critical in guiding them through their healing processes. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care and support they receive, thus contributing to their overall mental well-being and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• An active license in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Experience working independently in a clinical setting with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Strong proficiency with technology and telehealth platforms, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in teletherapy or telehealth services is highly desired.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Proven capacity to engage in community outreach and education regarding mental health awareness and suicide prevention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
