Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while you connect with clients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office setting is designed to support the therapeutic relationship, even from a distance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and the formulation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy utilizing proven evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, facilitating de-escalation and safety.
  • Maintain diligent and secure documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant assessments, complying with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
  • Empower clients and their families by providing education on mental health topics, available treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.
  • Commit to continual professional development by remaining up-to-date with advancements in mental health therapies and participating in relevant training and workshops.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse adult clientele, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. Your expertise will not only support individuals but also couples and families seeking assistance in navigating their mental health concerns. Qualifications
  • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
