Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve healthy mental states and improve their overall quality of life. We pride ourselves on our evidence-based methods and a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, allowing you to provide counseling services from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a high standard of therapeutic engagement with clients. Our outpatient office setting ensures that you will be part of a supportive team, even while working remotely. Using advanced telehealth technologies, we ensure seamless communication, documentation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, ensuring accurate documentation from initial consultation through to discharge.
  • Evaluating clients’ needs and developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate individual, couple, family, and group interventions.
  • Facilitating weekly and bi-weekly therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities based on client needs.
  • Monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to coordinate care and support clients through referrals and follow-ups.
  • Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families to promote understanding of mental health issues and recovery strategies.
  • Utilizing electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, for efficient documentation and client management.
  • Implementing prevention strategies and identifying risk factors that may impede recovery processes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with adults, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. Our approach is rooted in empathy and cultural competency, recognizing the unique histories and backgrounds of each client to tailor interventions accordingly.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey is required.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • A demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and their treatments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clarity and precision in client documentation and interactions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach to counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and experience managing client data effectively.
  • Knowledge of addiction disorders and co-occurring conditions is a plus.
  • Exposure to best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plans with employer contributions, generous paid time off (PTO), and holiday pay.
