Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote therapy sessions with individuals and groups utilizing our secure telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for all clients.
• Perform thorough and detailed assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans and intervention strategies based on your findings.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention for clients experiencing urgent emotional and psychological distress, thereby ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assist clients in navigating community resources and social services, helping them connect with support systems that promote overall psychological well-being.
• Maintain accurate electronic client records, complete progress notes, and document treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and coordinated care to clients, sharing insights and strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.
• Educate clients on coping mechanisms, effective communication, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take charge of their mental health.
• Remain updated on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices within clinical social work and teletherapy through ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The target population for this role includes individuals who may be facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial challenges, many of whom are navigating recovery from substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in providing compassionate care and therapy to clients, with the ultimate goal of helping them achieve lasting improvements in their mental health and social functioning.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience in social work.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and platforms for effective client engagement.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly for remote interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality in all client communications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time effectively.
• Flexibility to accommodate client appointments across various time zones.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of related experience is required, candidates with additional experience in crisis intervention, group therapy, or experience within a detox or addiction treatment setting will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
