As our Supervisor Imaging Support, you will supervise diagnostic imaging department operations (e.g. nuclear medicine, MRI, Radiology, etc.) and ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.

Every day, you will assist with developing policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improve patient experience.

To be successful in this role you will supervise personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. You will also maintain the safety of diagnostic imaging service equipment and create a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.


Supports diagnostic imaging services in compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Adopts and applies methods to measure, sustain and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services and improve patient experience.
  • Supervises assigned personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.
  • Supports the activities to promote a safe environment in diagnostic imaging for patients, staff and the public.
  • Keeping the organization's mission, vision and values at the forefront of associate decision making and action.
  • Ensuring that the patient perspective is a driving force behind our actions and business decisions; crafting and implementing service practices that meet patients' and own organization's needs. (Focus also includes internal and external customers)

Required

  • High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
  • High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a general office setting.
  • Knowledge of imaging techniques, processes and procedures used in diagnostics.
  • Ability to produce images of internal body structures for clinical purposes or medical science.
  • Knowledge of radiology and applicable laws and regulations governing proper materials storage, handling and disposal as well as radiology-related conduct.
  • Ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage radiology departmental operations to achieve high performance and reach quality goals.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety regulations, principles, techniques and nuclear materials handling.
  • Ability to practically apply this knowledge to resolve safety issues.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods.
  • Synthesize, coordinate, and analyze data, perform simple and repetitive tasks.
  • Maintain a work pace appropriate to given work-load.
