The Imaging Care Assistant plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.
The Imaging Services team consists of X-ray, CT, MRI, General Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. As a member of the Union Health Imaging team, you will play an integral role by assuring that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Imaging Services team for answers.

Imaging Care Assistant Details
Schedule:

  • Full-time:  3, 12-hour shifts per week
    •  11am - 1130pm
  • Monday-Friday scheduling
  • Holiday rotation:  2 per year
  • No on-call

Essential Job Duties:

  • Patient care: Gowns/dresses patients, helps patients with paperwork, prepares patients for procedures, assists with ambulation and transporting.
  • Equipment: Prepares imaging equipment, stocks supplies, cleans as required.
  • Administrative: Answers call lights, prints patient labels for forms, burns CDs, shares images through Nuance Powershare.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrates basic knowledge of health and safety, appropriate conduct and positive attitude, awareness of unit activities, and basic clerical skills.

License/Certification:

  • Healthcare Provider BLS level of CPR is required.
