Description:

ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work within the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) organization based in Colorado Springs, CO.

 This role will be a key contributor to define, manage, and monitor DARC Site 2 (DS2) Integrated Logistics Support project elements. This role will be primarily responsible for planning, monitoring, and collaborating with Program Management and major Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s) to successfully execute DS2 ILS functions. ILS functions include material procurement, engineering drawing development, property management, material and component shipping to site, Technical Orders (TO) development, Training development, and adhering to international trade compliance. This role will report to the DARC ILS lead and matrixed to the DS2 program.

Job Duties Include:  

  • Represent the ILS function as the project point of contact for ILS functions
  • Collaborate with Program Management and IPT’s to manage the execution of ILS functions
  • Develop proposals in response to customer Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
  • Support the ILS Control Account Manager (CAM) with maintaining schedule and reporting cost performance through the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Participate in long-term sustainment planning for DS2
  • Reviews status of ILS tasking and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status report
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application with willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project and program Integrated Master Schedules
  • Proficient with basic principles and theory of logistics management, inventory management, and DoD Acquisitions
  • Familiar with Engineering Drawings, Technical Manuals, Military Training Curriculum, and Logistics Analysis
  • Proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Proficient working within an Agile environment
  • Proficient with Atlassian tool sets (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with developing labor and material Basis of Estimates (BOE’s)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (i.e. Teamcenter) and Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems (i.e., SAP)
  • Familiar with Logistics Planning to include Level of Repair Analysis, Spares Forecasting, Reliability, and Program Health Models
  • Experienced with planning, and managing the deployment and fielding of equipment
  • Experience with MIL PRF 49506 and LMI/LSA data products
  • Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) processes in support of obsolescence planning
  • Experience with Import/Export requirements and processes
  • Experience with IT Asset Management or License Management
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams in a project-oriented environment
